Our journey to help those with PURA syndrome is just beginning. Every dollar raised takes us another step closer to needed support, research, and treatments.
Please help us improve the lives of those with PURA syndrome.

Join Team PURA for 2025 and help us raise funds for epilepsy research.
The PURA Foundation Australia is fundraising to increase our understandings of epilepsy that occurs with PURA syndrome. We have researchers at the Florey Institute ready to begin the research but funding is required.
"PURA is a disorder where the epilepsy can be devastating. Once it starts, it can rarely be fully controlled. We need research to understand the disease better in order to develop precise treatments" said Prof Richard Leventer.
Neurologist – Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne
The PURA Foundation Australia is fundraising to complete PURA syndrome research here in Australia. We have scientists ready to begin but funding is required.
With this in mind, we invite you to donate to Team PURA and help us fundraise as we run, jog, wheel and walk our way through the best of Brisbane. Join us on the Story Bridge to write a new story for PURA syndrome.
